  • Place one cover slip in one tissue culture dish (35mm).
  • For square cover slips: after they have dried score them into four sections with a diamond knife.   One score vertically and one horizontally.
  • Remove collagen out of refrigerator.
  • Using a 10 ml pipette, pipette about 3-4 ml of collagen.  Place about 2 ml of collagen on one cover slip and remove excess amount.
  • Continue doing this until all cover slips have been coated.
  • Let them dry in the hood.
  • Once they are dry, put the covers on them and place the dishes in the big petri dish.  Wrap parafilm around them and store them in the refrigerator.
